JavaScript Job: Software Engineer Intern

We are currently managing the maintenance and evolution of the Galileo Ground Control Segment (GCS), in charge of controlling the Galileo constellation. You will join the Galileo Ground Control Segment (GCS) development team. This team is in charge of the development and maintenance of the automation of the system deployment, as well as the development of several applications that provide different services to the control center. For example: a centralized archive, the monitoring system, the automation of maintenance tasks, etc.

The candidate will contribute to the design, development, deployment and validation of the different tools mentioned above and will be able to exercise his/her knowledge in the following areas as L3: Automation of on premises infrastructure deployment; Virtualization (VMWare); Deployment orchestration technologies (Ansible); Automation of tasks with different tools (Rundeck and Jenkins); Securization and bastioning of the system and the different applications; Small developments in different languages (Python, Java, C++, etc).

• Knowledge of UNIX /Linux based environments
• Scripting skills (e.g., shell, Python)
• Programing laguanges: C/C++, Java or Javascript
